Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF)

The 44 acre site was donated to the city of Aberdeen in 1880 by Miss Elizabeth Duthie, which opened as a public park in 1883. Duthie Park won the ‘Green Flag Park Awards’ in 2013, and is now home to an indoor garden experience called the David Welch Winter Gardens. Open all year round, the gardens preserve exotic plants and is also home to one of the largest cacti collections in the UK. Duthie Park host annual events such as ‘Opera In The Park’ and also run family fun days.
