The highlight of the Festival's dance programme, the Dance Gala brings together the best young dancers from our dance school with international companies to present both new choreography and traditional dance from different cultures. Including ballet, contemporary and traditional folk dance.

Dance programme

The Festival presents an exciting programme fusing classical and modern ballet, traditional and contemporary dance, drawing influences from Africa, Europe and Central America.

Companies performing include:

African Showtime Dancers
Aike Raes and Cie Ph/f/ase from Belgium
Gastana Danco from Israel
Georgia Dance Theatre Legacy
and the National Dance Company of the Bahamas

Ground breaking, vibrant and theatrical - don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to see the world’s leading young dance companies on stage.
